A major deal for General Robotics in Southeast Asia

General Robotics announces significant sale deal of the DOGO anti-terror robot to a customer in Southeast Asia. As part of the deal, several units of the DOGO sold for an estimated amount of a million dollars.
The DOGO is an ultra-light (10Kg) hand held robot designed to combat terrorism and serves special units in the army, police and intelligence services. The DOGO includes a Glock or Sig-Sauer pistol and enables counter-terrorism forces to neutralize terrorists from remote control (without exposing the fighters to the line of fire).
In reality, in which terror attacks city centers around the world, technological solutions are needed to assist the anti-terror forces. The DOGO was built specifically to provide support for hostage scenarios in an urban environment, as well as in situations of terrorists barricading themselves in closed areas.
The ability of the DOGO to fight terrorism with minimal risk to the lives of staff members and with minimal collateral damage to civilians makes it a preferred tool for anti-terror units.
